Description

This online training package provides care homes with an extensive information and guidance on how to screen a patient using the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool and how to implement a ‘Food First’ Nutritional Action Plan depending on the outcome of the screening. It also provides training on how to rescreen the patient and refer a patient directly to the dietetic services if appropriate.

There is a section for FAQ’s and also a ten question quiz and six question case study, 100% must be obtained to pass the course.

Once you have completed the course, you can use our Audit Tool to review practice within your care home. Please send any completed audit’s to rdash.dietetics@nhs.net
