Dietitians are experts in the interpretation of the science of nutrition to improve health and treat diseases/conditions by educating and giving practical, personalised advice to clients, patients, carers, and colleagues.
Dietitians are regulated by the Health & Care Professionals Council and work in partnership with doctors, nurses, and allied health care professionals.
Within Doncaster there are two Dietetic Services;
Rotherham, Doncaster & South Humber NHS Trust (RDaSH) providing care for patients who require oral and enteral nutrition support. All patient and healthcare professional information can be found on this website.
We accept referrals for adults (over 18 years of age) with a Doncaster GP. Patients cannot self-refer but can be referred by a healthcare professional. We provide clinic appointments, home visits and telephone appointments.
